Website Maintenance Services and Care

Websites age like cars. Skip the maintenance and the decline is quiet at first, then expensive. We audit, speed up, secure and look after sites, ours and other people's, including ones another studio built. Our website maintenance services keep yours fast, healthy and easy to find long after launch, and you have someone to call when something breaks.

Website care is four unglamorous things done reliably: updates, backups, monitoring and fast help when something breaks. It costs from €100 a month across three plans: Watch, Partner and Crew. We also maintain sites we didn't build, WordPress included.

We monitor uptime, forms and orders, so we know about an outage before your customers do.

Every service in this category, explained

  • Watch

Updates, backups and monitoring every month.

In short Basic website care for €100 a month: system and plugin updates, daily off-server backups, uptime monitoring and 30 minutes of work for small fixes. We respond to requests the next business day.

How we workAfter the onboarding audit we take over access and set up monitoring. Updates go to a copy of the site first and only then live. Backups are stored off the server, and we test restoring from them every so often.

What you getA site with an up-to-date system, tested backups and monitoring that reports an outage before a customer does. Care can be cancelled in any month.

    What's included

    • System and plugin updates
    • Daily off-server backups
    • Uptime monitoring
    • 30 minutes of work a month

    Partner

Watch plus three hours of work and a monthly report.

In short Website care for €250 a month for sites that keep changing: everything in Watch, plus three hours of work, priority in the queue and a monthly report.

How we workUse the hours for content edits, new pages, small features or speed work. Unused hours expire, and anything beyond them is agreed upfront. The report sums up uptime, speed and the work done.

What you getA site looked after by a steady partner: updates, backups, three hours of work and a monthly summary of what happened and what we recommend.

    What's included

    • Everything in Watch
    • 3 hours of work a month
    • Priority in the queue
    • Monthly report

    Crew

A team for a site that keeps growing, with a 4-hour response.

In short Care from €600 a month for sites and shops that carry revenue: everything in Partner, ongoing development and a 4-hour outage response written into the contract.

How we workWe plan development a month ahead by your priorities. Outages are monitored around the clock and we start on an incident within 4 hours. The price depends on development hours.

What you getA team that maintains and grows the site, with a contractual response time and a monthly work plan. Suited to sites where an hour of downtime costs more than a month of care.

    What's included

    • Everything in Partner
    • Ongoing feature development
    • 4-hour outage response
    • Response time in the contract

    Website SEO Audit

What keeps you out of search results and where to start.

In short A technical and content SEO check-up: indexation, speed, structure, content gaps, all ranked by impact so you know what’s actually costing you rankings and what’s cosmetic.

How we workWe check both by machine and by hand. A crawler first finds pages that aren’t indexing, are duplicated or throw an error, then we go through the content ourselves to see what you’re actually answering. We also pull what your competitors rank for on your own results page. All of it runs for both Google and Seznam.

What you getA report you can work through week by week: what to fix now, what can wait for next quarter, with the why and the how behind every point. You also get the full list of crawled URLs with findings, so items can be checked off without needing us in the room.

    What's included

    • Technical, content, competitor checks
    • Sorted by impact and effort
    • Each finding explains its why
    • Google plus Seznam

    SEO

Monthly care for your site in search.

In short Ongoing SEO care on a monthly rhythm: monitoring, fixes, content recommendations and honest reporting. It’s the compounding kind of marketing: boring month to month, dramatic over a year.

How we workA website care plan runs on a monthly rhythm: tracking rankings, indexation and technical errors, fixing what breaks during normal operation and suggesting what to write next. We keep everything transferable, running on your own access with full documentation. If your industry would get more out of ads than long-term optimization, we’ll tell you that too.

What you getA monthly report showing the number of leads and visits to your commercial pages, a list of fixes made and a plan for next month. Access and documentation stay yours, so handing the work off elsewhere never means starting from zero.

    What's included

    • Steady, month by month
    • Reports that track leads
    • You keep access and docs
    • We’ll flag it when ads pay more

    Website speed audit

We find out exactly why your site is slow.

In short Lab and field data, Core Web Vitals, a waterfall analysis, a clear diagnosis of exactly why your site is slow, delivered in a report your current developer, or we, can act on.

How we workWe measure with both lab tests and real visitor data, since the two often disagree, especially on mobile networks. Loading gets broken down file by file, so we can show what’s blocking render, what’s downloading for no reason and what can simply wait. Once the fix ships, we measure again.

What you getA report ranked by the ratio of impact to effort, one your current developer can act on even if we’re not the ones doing the fixing. It includes both lab measurements and real visitor data, so you’ve got something solid to compare against. Our website maintenance services can pick up straight from that report.

    What's included

    • Lab tests plus real visitor data
    • Every file’s load time broken down
    • Handy for your own developer
    • Re-checked after the fix

    Speed optimization

Faster images, fonts, scripts and hosting.

In short We make slow sites fast: images, scripts, fonts, caching, hosting. Load time typically drops by half or more, and speed pulls UX, SEO and conversion up together.

How we workWe start by measuring, fix things in steps, and measure again after each one. We focus on what actually decides speed: images, fonts, scripts, caching, hosting and the order the page assembles in. On locked-down hosted platforms, we tell you upfront exactly how far it’s realistic to get.

What you getA faster site, with before and after measurements and a note on what each change actually delivered. You also get monitoring set up so a future slowdown gets caught before your customers notice it.

    What's included

    • Re-measured after each step
    • Images, scripts, fonts and caching
    • We’ll work on WordPress or any other site
    • Monitored against future slowdown

    Virus removal

We clean a hacked site and close the attacker's way in.

In short Hacked site cleaned, backdoors found and closed, blacklist removal requested, and the hole they got in through patched, with hardening added so there isn’t a second round.

How we workWe secure the site and make a copy for analysis first, then remove the malicious code, fake pages and added accounts, and check the database, where the rest usually hides. Passwords and keys get changed, the system and plugins updated, and the entry point the attacker used gets closed. Finally, we ask search engines and browsers to lift the warning they show for a hacked site.

What you getA cleaned, running site with the entry point closed, credentials replaced and the system fully updated. You also get a plain-language write-up of what happened and how it got in, plus a copy of the site from before we touched it. Regular website maintenance makes a repeat less likely.

    What's included

    • Entry point found, then closed
    • The database gets checked too
    • Search engine warnings cleared
    • A plain write-up of what happened

    DDOS Protection

Protection so the site survives an attack or a traffic spike.

In short CDN, WAF, rate limiting and caching set up before you need them, so a traffic spike, whether an attack or just going viral, doesn’t take your revenue offline.

How we workWe route traffic through a content delivery network and put filtering, rate limits and caching in front of the server, so most requests never even reach it. We then tune the rules so real customers and search engines get through cleanly. The setup gets tested with simulated load first, before it’s ever needed for real.

What you getA protection setup with filtering and caching, verified so customers and search engines never hit unnecessary hurdles. You also get a one-page incident plan: who calls whom, what gets switched off first and how you’ll know it’s over.

    What's included

    • CDN, filtering and caching combined
    • Tuned so real customers get through
    • A plan ready for when it hits
    • Ready before you ever need it

    1. Our site was launched and nobody has touched it since

    2. Plugins age, the theme drifts out of compatibility and one day the form quietly stops working. An onboarding audit shows what state the site is in, and we sort out the most urgent issues.

    3. The site is slow and we don't know why

    4. A performance audit measures where the site loses time: server, images, scripts, fonts. You get a ranked fix list with expected gains, and then we do the speed work.

    5. The site is sending spam and dropped out of search

    6. We treat a hacked site as a priority: we clean it, close the hole the attacker used and ask Google for a review. Then we set up monitoring so it doesn't happen again.

    7. When something breaks, we wait a week for a reply

    8. Your site doesn't care that the supplier has a queue. Your plan states the response time in writing, 4 hours on Crew, and a hacked site gets handled immediately on every plan.

    Update the site yourself?

Anyone can click update in WordPress, and for a small site that's often enough. The difference starts when an update breaks something, a backup won't restore or the site slows down and nobody knows why.

When you can do it yourself

    • You have a small site with a few pages and few plugins
    • Your host makes backups and you know how to restore them
    • A day of downtime costs nothing serious
    • You have time to go through the site once a month

    When it starts costing money

    • The site has a shop or a form that brings in leads
    • An update once broke the site and nobody has dared since
    • The site has slowed down and is slipping in search
    • Nobody checks whether the site is even up

Websites age like cars. Skip the maintenance and the decline stays quiet at first, then turns expensive. We audit, speed up, secure and look after sites, ours and other people’s, so a problem reaches us before it reaches your customers. Slow sites usually end up under a second; hacked ones get cleaned, and then we shut the door they got in through. For Prague and around, there’s also the workshop side: computers built, repaired, upgraded and cleaned by people who are honestly fussy about it. No mystery invoices, just what’s wrong, what it costs and whether it’s worth doing.

    What you ask most often

What do website maintenance services include?

System and plugin updates, regular backups, uptime and security monitoring, speed checks and small content edits. Plus a person who responds when something breaks.

How much does a website care plan cost?

Three plans: Watch at €100 a month (updates, backups, monitoring and 30 minutes of work), Partner at €250 (plus 3 hours of work and a report) and Crew from €600 (development and a 4-hour response). We recommend one after the onboarding audit. Nothing is added on top, the price is final.

Do you maintain sites you didn't build?

Yes, after an onboarding audit so we know what we're taking on. WordPress and sites on hosted platforms included.

    How fast do you respond?

It depends on the plan: Watch the next business day, Partner with priority within a few hours during business hours, Crew within 4 hours as per contract. A hacked site gets handled immediately on every plan.

What if I don't want a monthly plan?

That's fine. We do one-off work by the hour or for a fixed price per task. A monthly plan only pays off once the work is regular.

How should I maintain a WordPress site?

Back up before every update, update on a copy of the site first, delete unused plugins and check the site is up. If you don't have the time or appetite for it, we'll take it over.

Someone else hosts my site. Is that a problem?

Not at all. We work with the hosting you have. If the host is behind slowness or outages, we'll recommend a move and help with it.

How much faster will the site get?

It depends on the starting point. On neglected sites load time often drops by half or more. The audit gives you a precise estimate, and we measure the result before and after.

What should I do if my site is hacked?

Get in touch right away and don't delete the site. We clean it, find and close the hole, change access credentials and ask search engines for a review. Then we set up monitoring.

    Ready to build something solid?

Drop us a message. We reply within a few hours to set up a quick chat.

    1. 1Within hours: a human reply: first thoughts, maybe a question or two.
    2. 2Within days: a 30-minute call. You talk, we listen. Free, no obligations.
    3. 3After the call: a written fixed quote, or an honest answer that we're not the right fit, with a tip on who to ask instead.

No sales scripts. You'll be talking to the people who'll actually build it.
